I just recently discovered your excellent workflow and think it might help me a lot in my academic research and my work with my Zettelkasten! However, I think I stumbled upon some issues and I don't know wether they are Big Sur related, have anything to do with the recent update of bookends or if I am just stupid (happens more than I'd like). I am running the latest Big Sur (11.4), Intel Mac, latest Bookends (13.5.5.) and latest version of your workflow (1.3.5). The only thing I changed was the citation style setting but the following error also happened with the standard settings.

When I try to invoke the bebib-command to output the styled bibliography text, the simple enter command in my plain text editor The Archive gives me an error, in Scrivener (RTF) it works. However, the output with the MMD and Pandoc option works in The Archive with the exception that there is only the "#" or "^" instead of the last name in brackets (dunno wether this is intended or not).

The same error applies when I invoke the becite command with the CTRL, ALT and CMD option. I guess these commands use the same scripts?

Did I miss anything? Or might it be a complication due to Big Sur?

Hi, I can reproduce this problem. See if this works better in V1.3.6 — I have tried to ensure the Alfred variable citeUsesRTF is used by the bebib script now. Make sure you set that to false and it should paste plain text rather than RTF.

I also released a quick V1.3.7 which allows you to use ⌘⌥ on an item with an attachment and open the PDF directly in your PDF reader...

I found one "bug" (?): When I try to use the modifier keys to output in MMD or Pandoc Format I just get the following output no matter which citation style I use:

MMD: [#]
Pandoc: [@]

I've seen in the according thread in the Alfred forums that this is no new issue and that you don't experience this on your system. Please let me know if I can provide you with more information of my configuration.

Hi, I still can't reproduce this, but it is possible some setting or difference is causing the problem for you; I replied in more detail over at the Alfred forum: https://www.alfredforum.com/topic/10687 ... ment=89099

V1.3.9 was recently released, which fixed a compatibility problem for attachments with V14 and also added [control]+[shift] to copy the bookends:// ref using becite / betitle / beall
